Its a start….
Many people have sent messages through the blog or LinkedIn asking for a central meeting place for like-minded professionals in public or private sector, so here we are. We may eventually get a website – and a database.
For now, please just follow the LinkedIn page Futureofbuildingcontrol and hashtag #futureofbuildingcontrol and eventually we’ll get some content and then see if there’s a genuine desire for a single voice for Building Control professionals. Not CABE, Not RICS, not LABC, not ACAI. They each have a place and their own agenda but some people are being left behind.
If there is a demand, I’ll ask some of you to nominate yourselves to take over the organisation and you can lead it.
